End of Season Banquet
Please join us for the End of the Season Banquet! This is such a fun time for the kids! Dinner will be served and awards will be given.
This year, the food is being provided - there will be no potluck. Anyone with dietary restrictions is welcome to bring their own food if needed, as we couldn’t plan a menu to suit all dietary needs.
THINGS TO NOTE:
DEADLINE TO SIGN-UP: FRIDAY, JULY 27
Dress: by tradition, most families wear “dressy casual” attire to the banquet
We kindly ask that only the immediate families (this includes grandparents) of the swimmers and pre-team members attend the banquet, due to the larger size of the team and our limited space.
Please advise your kiddos ahead of time to remain within in the confines of the building or on the clubhouse patio. The club restaurant will be open that night, and we need to be respectful of the club members that are dining on the restaurant terrace. PLEASE STAY OFF OF THE GOLF COURSE AT ALL TIMES.
Dinner Menu: Hamburgers and Hot Dogs, Baked Beans (not vegetarian), Chips, and Fruit.
Dessert: Ice Cream Sundaes (make your own) - we do need a few people to sign up to help us scoop the ice cream - there is a job signup with the RSVP
Meal Cost: $5 per person (children 2 and under eat free)
Many thanks to William and Samantha Carithers (Willy’s Butcher Shop) for providing the hamburgers and hot dogs, and also to Kelly Johnson and Jonathan Wimmer (Johnson Family Restaurants) for providing the baked beans and ice cream!
Please RSVP YES OR NO for attending the banquet, and also for how many family members you will have eating. We need these numbers to make sure there is enough room and enough food, so THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!
To RSVP: go to holstonswim.com, meets and events tab, scroll down to the End of Season Banquet, and click on the green RSVP button, and also the job signup if you are available and willing to scoop ice cream.
We will be collecting banquet money at all practices and meets prior to the banquet. Money can be given to Dan or Allison Lore, Jonathan Buhl, Sara Whitley, or Pam O’Dell. Please try to make an effort to pay prior to the banquet, though money will also be collected at the door for those who have already RSVPd that they will be eating.
It's hard to believe this season is already coming to a close. Our team has done SO WELL!!
Allison
