Weekly Update 6/23/2019

From the Meet Director:
Many thanks to our newest Volunteer Coordinators - Sara Whitley, Leslie Smelcer, and Meghann Benn! They are doing awesome work at a really difficult job!

Because these wonderful ladies accepted this job at the beginning of the season, we did things a little differently with job signup for the first two meets. Now that they have some experience under their belts, we will be going back to job signup as we had it last year. You will be signing up only for Shift 1, Shift 2, or Relay Events (with the exception of a few specialized jobs). The volunteer coordinators will then place you in a job for the meet. PLEASE DON’T STRESS!! Our coordinators care about you, and your strengths and weaknesses! They are not going to put you in a job that is too hard. They will always make sure you are trained properly. And remember, it’s only for one shift! If you have special needs regarding your family and volunteering, just email Sara [email protected] and she will make sure to find a job that will work for you.

From the Treasurer:
We still have a handful of people who have not paid for registration and/or merchandise. Emails will go out this week to those who still owe. YOUR FAMILY MUST BE PAID IN FULL FOR YOUR SWIMMER TO BE ENTERED IN THE NEXT MEET. If you receive an email and you feel there is an error, please email [email protected].

Upcoming Practice Changes:
If practices or groups are not mentioned then they will follow regular schedule!
Week of July 1:
Monday July 1 - We will have morning practice just like regular morning practice
Tuesday July 2 - Morning practice is canceled, we will have evening practice. Little Hurricanes will still have practice.
Thursday July 4th - Morning and evening practice canceled for all.
