Hello again Hurricane families!

We have good news about the upcoming swim season. As previously communicated, Holston Hills informed us they would be unable to host us this summer.  We reached out to Beaver Brook Country Club and they extended a warm welcome and agreed to host our swim team. 

The board considered other locations, but BBCC met the most criteria in providing a fun summer swim experience. We know the location (6800 Beaver Brook Dr) will be further for some families, yet closer for others. Hopefully getting your kids in the pool will be worth any additional travel time.

We anticipate starting our program the first week of June so please prepare for communication on our upcoming online registration. Knowing that it will be a unique season, we will make some reduction in the cost in line with the product we can offer.

The details of how the season will run still depends on the guidance from Knox County on Phase 2.  This will likely include smaller numbers of swimmers at practices and possibly having families schedule particular time slots.  We intend to expand this as restrictions are eased.  Make your decision about participation early, as we will have to cap the total number of swimmers we can include.  We have been asked to extend registration to last year's BBCC swimmers, but we will not be able to allow any new members to the team this year.  Siblings of current families will be allowed join.  

Due to the circumstances this year, we will not be able to have Pre-Team.

Be on the lookout for information about specific practice times and info.  Trust that Brett and the team administration will do everything allowable to make this a fun and rewarding summer season.  We are very excited about the facility and the opportunity they have given us.  See you soon!
